The Challenge
We needed to start an education and demand generation campaign for online shops that do not have a search engine in their CMS and have limited knowledge about the eCommerce search engine sector, its capabilities, and competitors.
The goal is to generate awareness, interest, and consideration in trying the product with a special offer of a 60-day free trial.
Our audience segmentation was limited, and our target persona has two important points: Our plugin can only be integrated with eCommerce platforms in Prestashop and WooCommerce, specifically for SME shops rather than enterprise eCommerce.
We searched for a content partner in Spain with a large community of online shops that are active in audiences related to eCommerce platforms, such as Prestashop, WooCommerce, and Shopify, that are more focused on small and medium shop owners.
Implementation
Eventually, we began collaborating with Marketing4eCommerce from the start. We developed an eBook that performed exceptionally well. It was launched in the fourth quarter of 2022, alongside the eShow Madrid (Prestashop Village) and Black Friday campaign.
The ebook explains all the benefits and capabilities of the search commerce experience and why it's important to have control over your commerce search as a shop owner. Metrics, analytics, and setting up your dashboard are all part of the game.
My Contribution
- Coordinate all campaigns with the internal creative team
- Research data, metrics, and content for the ebook
- Review the copies with the M4C Content Team
- Launch and oversee the campaign while monitoring the agreed KPI metrics with the content partner
- Managed all leads generated and pipeline with our growth and sales team
Results
We achieved very good indicators in only 2 months:
- More than 70.000 monthly visits to our website (content partnership collaboration)
- More than 400 downloads of qualified leads
- 20% leads (downloads) to free-trial conversion
